HRA-NICE je projekt, který smazal hranici mezi architekturou a fotografii. Mezioborová spolupráce je upozorněním na téma hranice, jako něčeho nežádoucího i potřebného. Přemýšlely jsme o tom, že ačkoliv bydlíme v době, kdy hranice států jsou často již neviditelné, je stále velmi důležité na hranice nezapomínat. Hranice jsou, ať chceme nebo nechceme, i součástí našeho každodenního života. Výsledkem naší práce je soubor menších projektů, které hravou formou vedou diváka k zamyšení nad tématem z nevšedních úhlů pohledů.

The interdisciplinary collaboration draws attention to the theme of the border as something both unwanted and needed. We thought about the fact that although we live in a time when national borders are often no longer visible, it is still very important not to forget borders. Borders are, whether we want them or not, part of our everyday life. The result of our work is a set of smaller projects that playfully lead the viewer to think about the topic from unusual perspectives.

Linie hranic
Příroda se mění od severu k jihu, nezná však hranic. Člověk si vytvořil hranice, kte ré ctí a podle kterých se chová. Správa silnic se často odvíjí od státního rozpočtu a celkové tendence vlády a menších orgánů. Strom roste bez ohledů na to, kde prochází hraniční čára, na krajině je tak změna nepozorovatelná.

Prací je interakce s materiálem, který je křehký a jeho rozpad tvoří jasné hranice. Rozbíjení uvolňuje napětí. Některá keramika puká už v žáru pece, jiná až následkem pů sobení člověka. Nenadarmo se také říká: “tak dlouho se chodí se džbánem pro vodu, až se ucho utrhne”.
Učíme se pomíjivosti a odnaučujeme se vztahu k předmětu jako takovému. Při svatebních obřadech je rituál rozbíjení talíře přípravou na změny, které na novomanžele čekají. Podle filozofie Feng Šuej jsou střepy nosiči negativní energie.
Hranice jsou důsledkem i příčinou pnutí mezi národy a přímo souvisí se vznikem válečných konfliktů.
Playing-at

We learn transience and unlearn our relationship to the object as such. In wedding ceremonies, the ritual of breaking the plate is a preparation for the changes that await the newlyweds. According to Feng Shui philosophy, shards are carriers of negative energy.
Boundaries are both the result and cause of tensions between nations and are directly related to the emergence of warfare.

Totem je symbol celku a totožnosti kmenové skupiny. Nejčastěji to bývá živočich nebo rostlina, jsou však popsány i totemy „mlha“ nebo „skála“.
Náš totem pochází z Českých Velenic a je symbolem pro pohraniční život. České Veleni ce jsou městem mnoha kultur, které přitáhla většinou právě přítomnost hranic. Totem je tvořen z objevených materiálů a je symbolem pro pospolitost. Pro jednotlivé prvky je možný různý výklad, a každý předmět je ovlivněn hraniční linií.
